In teamwork, it is essential to share and receive fast information daily. Difficulties in daily communication can increase workload.

Among staff: In cooperative work, we need fast and easy solutions for everyday communication. We also operate nationally in all offices, and we should have tools to share information between and inside offices.

In teamwork, it is essential to share and receive fast information daily. Difficulties in daily communication can increase workload.

With clients: It is essential to have fast communication with young people for free. Unexpected changes in plans should reach parents, trainee and others instantly.

In teamwork instant messaging (Whatsapp, Teams, Skype, Slack, e-mail) allows us to share information fast and easy. In Valteri school we use WhatsApp as a quick communication tool. We have created many different groups depending on the issue and cooperation. In WhatsApp, someone creates a group and adds people in it. We have “long-term groups” (classroom staff, rehabilitation group, teachers, instructors) and “short-term groups” (projects). All team members share their ideas for every team member. WhatsApp is on their mobile phones, so they are always available, and all team members get the same information at the same time.

WhatsApp is a useful tool for counseling with students (16+), e.g. student in workplace studies.
